El instrumento de determinaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida de DQO B1160 utiliza sulfato de plata como catalizador en presencia de una soluci\u00f3n \u00e1cida fuerte y un exceso de dicromato de potasio, y cataliza la oxidaci\u00f3n de sustancias reductoras en agua mediante calentamiento. El valor de DQO de la muestra de agua se determina mediante la relaci\u00f3n entre el valor de absorbancia del cromo hexavalente o el cromo trivalente y el valor de DQO del agua. El equipo est\u00e1 equipado con reactivos prefabricados y el usuario no necesita mezclar una variedad de reactivos de detecci\u00f3n.
